TMJ/TMD is a painful condition that can occur from teeth grinding at night, which is also known as bruxism. Often, patients do not know that they are clenching or grinding their teeth at night until they experience pain the next morning or they damage one of their teeth.
Our night guards are designed to protect your teeth from the grinding motion and they prevent broken and fractured teeth. If you are interested in a night guard, one of our dentists will take an impression of your teeth and then send it off to the lab to have a guard made. The guard is worn when you go to bed and is removed in the morning when you wake up.
